The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam) has released the official notification for the recruitment of an assistant improvement extension officer (adeo) for the year 2025, under the Panchayat & Rural Development Department.
A total of 200 vacancies have been announced, including 193 general, 2 backlog for scheduled tribes (st), and 5 backlog posts for visually impaired candidates. The recruitment process is entirely online, and applications will be accepted through the official website.

ELIGIBILITY Criteria
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. However, preference will be given to those with a postgraduate degree or diploma in rural development. Such candidates will receive 15 extra marks in the merit list preparation based on the marks scored in the written test.
Applicants must have all the original mark sheets and certifications of each semester/year of their degree by the last date of application. No qualification or certificate issued after the application deadline will be accepted. Furthermore, all documents must be verified during the document verification round, and candidates who fail to present valid original documents will be disqualified.
The minimum age required is 20 years, and the maximum age limit is 30 years for general candidates as of January 01, 2025. Additionally, unemployed educated youth of the state will get an extra relaxation of 5 years, making the effective upper limit 40 years.
Age relaxations:
- SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 5 years relaxation.
- Female candidates: Up to 10 years of relaxation.
- Government Employees: Up to 38 years, depending on service type.
- Ex-Servicemen, PWD, Volunteers, and Inter-Caste Marriage Awardees: Relaxations as per rules, subject to a maximum age limit of 45 years.
