Bihar LDC Selection Process 2025
The selection process for BPSC LDC Recruitment involves two stages: Preliminary and Main Exams, with specific conditions:
- If the number of applications received is less than 40,000, a Preliminary Exam will not be conducted.
- If the number of applications received exceeds 40,000, the selection process will be conducted in two stages:
- Preliminary Exam
- Main Exam
BPSC LDC Exam Pattern 2025
In the event of a high volume of applications, the Preliminary Exam will be conducted in several sittings. This Preliminary stage will follow an open-book format, allowing candidates to bring one book per subject (General Knowledge, Mathematics, and General Science), totaling a maximum of three books. Acceptable books are limited to textbooks published by NCERT, BSEB, ICSE, or other recognized examination boards.
The Preliminary Exam will consist of a single paper on General Knowledge, encompassing three subjects:

- General Science

- Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks.
- For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
- The exam duration is 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Candidates who qualify the main written exam (based on category-wise cut-off) will proceed to the Typing and Computer Test.
Typing Test Details:
- The Typing Test will be conducted in MS Word.
- Delete and Backspace keys will be disabled during the test.
- Hindi Typing will utilize the Remington Gail keyboard layout and Mangal font.
- Candidates must type 300 words in 10 minutes, achieving a speed of 30 words per minute.
- To qualify, the error rate must not exceed 1.5%. An error rate above this will lead to disqualification.
