AIIMS CRE Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The primary method for selecting candidates for the CRE AIIMS Recruitment 2025 is a Computer Based Test (CBT).
- The examination will last for 90 minutes.
- It will comprise 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question carries 4 marks, making the total maximum score 400.
- There will be four options provided for every question.
- The distribution of questions will be as follows:
- 25 MCQs focused on General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge.
- 75 MCQs covering the specific domain relevant to the respective group.
- The examination syllabus will correspond to the essential and desirable educational qualifications and experience listed in the official advertisement.
- The question paper is divided into 5 distinct sections, each allocated 18 minutes and containing 20 questions.
- Sections will appear sequentially. Once a section's time limit expires, it will be locked, and candidates cannot revisit it. The test will conclude automatically after the total allotted time finishes.
Medium of Examination
- For all post groups requiring a 10th (Matriculation) or 10+2 qualification, the exam will be offered in both English and Hindi.
- For any group or post where specific technical domain expertise is an essential qualification (regardless of the above medium rule) or requires a bachelor's degree or higher, the examination medium will exclusively be English.
- In cases where a combined examination covers post groups with both types of qualifications mentioned, the medium of the examination will be solely English.
Qualifying & Other Criteria
- Each question correctly answered will be awarded 4 marks.
- A negative marking penalty of 1/4th of the marks will be applied for every incorrect response.
- Minimum qualifying marks are set as follows:
- 40% for candidates in the UR/EWS category.
- 35% for OBC candidates.
- 30% for SC & ST candidates.
- PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) candidates will have a qualifying mark of 30%, regardless of their category.
