ELIGIBILITY Criteria
Candidates must fulfill at least one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Option i: Candidates should possess a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized institution/university accredited by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) or State Nursing Council. Alternatively, candidates with a B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized university are also eligible. Furthermore, all candidates must be registered as Nurses & Midwives with either the State or Indian Nursing Council.
- Option ii: Candidates must hold a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an accredited institution or board and be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting with at least 50 beds after obtaining the required GNM qualification.
The stipulated two years of experience must be acquired post-registration with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
The candidate's age must be between 18 and 30 years as of the application deadline. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government recruitment guidelines.
Registration Fee
General/OBC category candidates are required to pay ₹ 3,000. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS categories, the fee is ₹ 2,400. Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are exempted from fee payment. Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, or net banking. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances except for SC/ST candidates who appear for the examination; they will be eligible for a refund upon successful verification of their caste certificate.
